Win Bitcoin by playing Blackjack

Blackjack is the most popular table game in casinos. It's a game of luck, chance, and strategy. By employing the right strategy and with a little luck you can be a player that wins big.

Blackjack, one of the Bitcoin-based games CryptoGames offers, is played with four standard 52-card decks. Each card is assigned a value. Numbered cards from 2-10 are worth their face value, whereas jacks, queens, and kings are worth 10. Aces can be used as either a 1 or an 11. The aim of Blackjack is to draw cards such that your hand sums to 21, but without going over. In order to win the hand, you must also be closer to 21 than the dealer. A Blackjack, the best hand to be dealt, occurs when the player has an Ace and a 10-point valued card. A Blackjack is paid more than a regular winning hand, either by 6:5, 3:2, or some other combination.

The game begins when the dealer distributes the cards - two cards for the player(s) and two cards for dealer. While the player’s cards are all visible, the dealer has one face down card. The player needs to act first by hitting, splitting, doubling down, surrendering, or standing.

Here's a short explanation what each move does:

Hitting - This move will give the player another card.

Splitting - This is possible if player receives two cards of the same value. Splitting transforms the same valued cards into two separate hands. The player then plays each hand independently.

Double down - This is possible on every hand. The player doubles their initial bet and receives only one additional card.

Surrender- This will return half of player’s original bet and terminate the hand. This move is suggested when the player is looking at bad odds against the dealer (16 vs 10).

Standing - This move marks the completion of the dealing.

There are several variations in the rules that different casinos offer. Depending on the rules, some variations favor the player while others can favor the house.

Playing Blackjack is fun, but make sure you are familiar with house rules and learn some basic strategies to increase your odds.
